Cameroon – Martin Ndtoungo Mpile’s 33 Man Squad Now Known

The head coach of Cameroon's intermediate Lions,  Martin Ndtoungo Mpile has published a list of 33 home base lions ahead of the African nation's championship (CHAN) to begin on January 16, 2021.

The list is made up of 23 players on the final list and 10 on the waiting list.

It should be noted that CAF had set January 6 as a deadline for the publication of the final list of players by participating nations, but due to the outbreak of COVID-19,  CAF gave participating nations the chance to have 10 additional players on the waiting list as they can only be included in the final list when need be.

The 33 man list is shortlisted below.

Goalkeepers:  Hashou Kerrido (PWD Bamenda), Epane Epane Litizi (Stade Renard), and Dande Junior (Apejes of Mfou)

Defenders: Banga Binjeme Salomon( Coton Sport), Etame Ngombe (Coton Sport), Gabriel Fils Penda (Apejes of Mfou), Basile Yankam (PWD Bamenda), Keuni Steve Roberto (Stade Renard), Serge Andoulo (Union Douala) and Mamoudou Hassana Abbo (Coton Sport)

Midfielders: Felix Oukine (Coton Sport), Badouidana Onana Fabrice( Stade Renard), Thierry Tchuente (Coton Sport), Emmanuel Joel Kofana (Canon), Martin Loic Ako Assomo (Ajejes of Mfou), Bertrand Junior Mani (Colombe of Dja), Alfred Meyong Etong (Stade Renard), Mfede Junior Anthony (AS Futuro)

Cameroon takes on Zimbabwe in the opening game on Saturday, January 16, 2021, at the Yaounde Omnisports Stadium.
